Story
HOWDY!! We are Matt & Cindi Hannes, Owners of 1876 Roofing & Construction. We are active members of the Bryan/College Station and Greater Brazos Valley Community.​

Matt has bee in the construction industry for over 40 years with a wealth of knowledge in areas such as roofing, ventilation, design, landscaping, drainage, and so much more. He obtained his BS in Design & Development from Sam Houston State University.​ As a retired Firefighter & Paramedic, Matt has a passion for helping others, whether it is serving with the Brazos Valley Pct 3 Volunteer Fire Department, assisting the Brazos Valley ESD Board with helping our community improve their ISO (Insurance Service Office) Rating, or serving on multiple boards at our church.​

Cindi is also a graduate from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Accounting. She loves networking, building relationships, & helping empower clients through education. Cindi served as a Rotary Youth Ambassador to Germany and still keeps in touch with friends & relatives abroad, as well as attending monthly gatherings with other Germans in the BCS area. Cindi is also an active member of her church and BNI Brazos Valley One Stop.​
We have three awesome adult children who we love hanging out with. Annemarie will finish her Engineering degree at Texas A&M University just as Philipp begins the same degree this Fall. Kira is studying Art at Blinn College. Matt is an absolute FOODIE & we love to travel & dance!​

Matt & Cindi are members of the Brazos Valley Chamber of Commerce, regularly attend One Million Cups, are on a task force at church, and are active Board members for the Brazos Valley Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association of Texas (CCA0. Building relationships means that even if we can't help you, we can almost always connect the dots to someone who can!
